Sharing warmth and generosity
GenerousAt Open Garden Restaurant, located in the backstreets of Naoussa, Paros, we share with you
the warmth of the Cyclades: hospitality, generosity and -really- good food. Our team is here to look after you with a genuine smile. You are welcome. Truely. |
SimpleOur kitchen is inspired by the culinary diversity of Greek food
and the use of local, fresh ingredients. We serve unpretentious dishes, with a contemporary twist. All cooked with love, and delicate simplicity. |
HomegrownProudly from plant to plate.
We timidly started our spray free vegetable garden in 2019, and share with you the fresh inspiration and sublte fragrances of handpicked homegrown vegetables every day on our special harvest to table menu. |
INSPIRED
(A few words about the world we share with you)
The woman behind it
|
The way we do itWe use wherever possible locally sourced produce for many reasons.
First of all, they are fresh and we know where they come from and how they get to us. Then, there is the taste, fragrance, texture: beautiful Parian cheese, fresh fish, homegrown vegetables, sometimes local meat. By honoring local produce we share with you our love of Paros, and Greece. |
SUSTAINABLE
We care. We recycle our cooking oils, all our drinks are in glass bottles and we ditched plastic straws some years ago.
We avoid disposables when possible. Our menu is also available with a QR code. We use led light bulbs for reduced consumption.
We mostly buy local in small quantities, cook fresh small batches of food on a daily basis achieving reduced carbon footprint,
reduced food waste and of course, quality.
Our homegrown vegetable garden is zero waste as any surplus or unsold vegetables and fruits
are transformed into chutneys, jams, pickles, pestos, deserts that we use on our menu.
